Batangas City, Philippines — October 2025 | Westmead International School officially welcomed its new students through the Freshmen General Orientation (Module 1) held at Room 202, EDC Building. The event aimed to help incoming students transition smoothly into college life by familiarizing them with the institution’s policies, academic expectations, and campus culture.

The orientation was divided into three sessions to accommodate different academic programs:

• Morning Session (8:00 AM – 10:30 AM) — BS Psychology, BA Political Science, BA Communication, BS Public Administration, and BS Criminology
• Midday Session (11:00 AM – 1:30 PM) — Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education, BS Tourism Management, BS Hospitality Management, BS Accountancy, BS Business Administration, AB Economics, BS Entrepreneurship, and BS Customs Administration
• Afternoon Session (2:00 PM – 4:30 PM) — BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Civil Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Electronics Engineering, BS Industrial Engineering, BS Computer Engineering, BS Computer Science, and BS Information Technology

Dr. Marites D. Manlongat, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the School of Economics, Business, and Accountancy, served as the resource speaker for the orientation. She discussed essential topics on school regulations, academic policies, student services, and campus facilities—ensuring that every freshman is equipped with the knowledge and confidence to begin their academic journey.

The Freshmen General Orientation is part of Westmead International School’s ongoing efforts to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for its students, reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence and student development.
