The Student Council and Department Officers of Westmead International School (WIS) proudly represented the institution at the Academic Roadshow 2025, held at the Batangas Convention Center.

This two-day event, themed “Youth Can Make It Happen,” was organized by the Board of Investments (BOI) in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Local Government of Batangas, and the Batangas City ICT Council.

The Academic Roadshow—part of the AIM! (Academe-Industry Matching) initiative—aims to bridge the gap between education and the professional world by preparing the next generation of engineers, innovators, and digital professionals for the evolving demands of the industry.

Through engaging discussions, exhibits, and interactive sessions, students gained valuable insights into emerging technologies, digital transformation, and career opportunities in the ICT and investment sectors. The event also underscored the vital role of youth empowerment in driving inclusive and sustainable progress in Batangas and beyond.
