Junior BS Accountancy Bryan Blair Fallarme: PRISAA National Delegate for Chess
Bryan Blair Fallarme did it again!!! In the Regional Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) held at Sienna College in Taytay, Rizal, he won the gold medal in the Men Chess Board 1 Category beating players from the whole of CALABARZON and brought pride to his alma mater.
Fallarme has won the gold medal in the Regional PRISAA for the third consecutive time. Prof. Ryan Aledo, Director for Sports & Cultural Development, comments that Blair has truly become a force to be reckoned with when it comes to chess. “I admire his wit and focus when he faces his opponents. Talagang magaling! Sigurado akong mas gagaling pa siya,” Prof. Aledo adds.
Fallarme has been quoted in the past to say that for him, chess has so many advantages and can be used to improve one’s personality, lateral capacity and math skills. He started playing the game at the age of four and began joining competitions at the age of seven.
He will go on to represent CALABARZON, and of course Westmead, in the National PRISAA to be held in Iloilo province. Your Westmead family is very proud of you, Blair! Good luck in the Nationals!
