Kristine Joi E. Landicho, Westmead Batch 2015 Cum Laude awarded as one of the Top 10 Most Outstanding Customs Administration Students of the Philippines
The Philippine Society of Customs Administration Students (PSCAS) – Westmead International School Chapter joined customs administration students coming from different colleges and universities all over the Philippines in the 6th PSCAS National Convention held at the Philippine Trade Training Center, Roxas Boulevard, Manila last February 27, 2015.
With the theme, “PSCAS: Strengthening Towards ASEAN Integration”, this nationwide event aims to instill knowledge and facilitate camaraderie among all customs administration students as they prepare themselves for the much-talked about ASEAN Integration this 2015. To better explain the impact of said integration to the field of customs administration, several resource speakers shared their valuable knowledge and experiences about the issue. Included in the list is Dr. Arnold Ditan, Chairman of the Philippine Regulatory Board for Customs Brokers, who discussed the ethics for customs brokers profession.
Right after the informative lectures, the awarding ceremony for the Search for the Most Outstanding Customs Administration Students of the Philippines was held. Fortunately, Westmead’s very own Ms. Kristine Joi E. Landicho was ranked top 10 in the said search, which made the Westmead delegates roared in excitement, happiness, and pride.
